CURRENT CONSTRUCTION INFO
The City of Peoria has contracted with Haydon Building to construct improvements for Lake Pleasant Parkway, with the following planned activities:

Lake Pleasant Parkway traffic is currently shifted to the east side of Lake Pleasant Parkway, north of the Loop 303, one lane in each direction, until approximately Summer 2026, onto temporary asphalt pavement, for work to take place on the west side of the road.

Initial work on the west side includes milling (removal) of asphalt roadway, followed by installation of wet utilities to include water and sewer pipeline.

As the shoulder of the roadway on either side of Lake Pleasant Parkway is currently closed, this area is not safely accessible for cyclists so please travel an alternate route during this time.​
Roads remain open for travel during this work with traffic restrictions in place, as needed, to accommodate the work effort. Work is primarily taking place during daytime hours, with some exceptions, during weekdays, excluding major holidays.
